No. You can load the repertoire and build setlists on your own, and invite the rest whenever you're ready. Whoever signs in gets their own role — and substitutes can come in as guests instead of full members.
That's what performance mode is for: full-screen lyrics and chords, large type, one tap per song. Bandmate installs like an app and caches what you've already opened, so a weak signal at the venue doesn't leave you staring at a spinner.
It stays yours. You can print or save a PDF of your songbook and of any setlist at any time, and deleting the band removes its data. We don't sell it and we don't lock it in.
